Student Engagement – “Every Child Learns, Plays & Grows with Joy”
Engagement for children goes far beyond activities—it is about creating moments that spark learning, laughter, and lifelong skills.
How We Make Learning Joyfully Engaging

Children explore concepts through hands-on activities, sensory play, storytelling, and real-life experiences. The I-Cube Learning Ladder:
Through Inquiry, Interaction, and Innovation, students develop the 4Cs—Curiosity, Confidence, Creativity, and Continuity.Play-Based Learning Environment:
Our classrooms encourage movement, exploration, imagination, and dialogue—helping children express themselves freely.Celebrations & Events:
Festivals, theme days, field trips, sports, yoga, talent shows, and cultural programs build confidence and social skills.Emotional & Social Development:
Teachers focus on empathy, sharing, communication, self-expression, and building healthy friendships.Safe & Supportive Spaces:
Every child gets individual attention, ensuring that their unique pace, personality, and strengths are respected.
For us, every child is a story waiting to unfold—and we ensure they bloom beautifully.
Learning Through Experiences: “Children Learn From What They Live”
Young children absorb the world through lived experiences. At Shanti Juniors, we intentionally design activities that allow children to feel, express, understand, and connect with emotions, values, and relationships.
They learn empathy when they play roles.
They learn belongingness when they celebrate festivals.
They learn confidence when they perform in front of peers.
They learn values when they understand the stories of our culture.
Every moment becomes a lesson that nurtures emotional intelligence and social harmony.

Teacher, Parent & Student Engagement
By Principal – Sonia Vyas
At Shanti Juniors Preschool, Kolar Road, we believe that true learning blossoms when teachers, parents, and students grow together as a community. Engagement is not an activity for us—it is our culture. Every interaction, classroom moment, and home connection is thoughtfully designed to nurture confidence, curiosity, and compassion in our young learners.
Below is our philosophy and practice for each pillar of engagement:

Social & Emotional Learning
By Principal – Sonia Vyas
At Shanti Juniors Preschool, Kolar Road, we believe that a child’s true growth begins from within—through experiences that shape their heart, mind, values, and emotions. Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is at the center of everything we do. As educators, we understand that children learn best through meaningful experiences, stories, cultural exposure, and practical learning that touches their young minds.
SEL is not a subject for us—it is a way of life at our preschool.
